Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus on 23 November 1992 is an American performer, songwriter, and actress. Noted for her distinctive raspy voice, her music is a blend of elements of a variety of genres and styles, such as pop, country pop hip hop, experimental and rock. With a total of thirteen songs, Cyrus is the female artist to have had the highest number of US Billboard 200 Top-five Albums in the 21st Century. Cyrus was the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and became an teen idol after she was cast in the title character in the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. Cyrus was an actor and was featured in Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2010) and The Last Song (2010). Cyrus was an instructor on The Voice for two seasons and starred in "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too", a Netflix episode of Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for the rights of animals. She embraced a vegan diet in the year 2014. In 2014, she founded the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on homeless youth and the LGBT community.
